11.6 million viewers tuned in yesterday to watch NBC's premier of Revolution. The very first scene featured a Bugs Bunny cartoon that was embedded on this blog nearly a year ago, in a post about electromagnetic interference. Because the new drama is produced by Warner Brothers, who also created the cartoon, it isn't entirely surprising. Still, seeing these connections portrayed prominently in mainstream entertainment indicates that this is no longer a fringe issue.
The best line from the pilot episode:
Charlie: You're afraid of bees.
Aaron: I'm not afraid of bees. I'm allergic to them. There's a big difference!
(replace bees with EMFs)
